We welcome everybody as full members of our church family, and we try to make sure that children feel able to participate in Sunday worship in whatever way feels right. See below for more details.
We also run a number of groups for Children & Young people during the week:
We offer Children’s Worship at St Cuthbert’s alongside the 9.30am service, as well as running occasional Holiday Clubs and the ever popular Messy Church at key times of the year, particularly during Christmas and Easter. This year we had great fun at Messy Harvest, and we’re already looking forward to Messy Christmas at 10am on Saturday 7th December – more details Here!
On a Sunday we explore some of the themes from the Bible Readings in a variety of ways with songs, activities, games and conversation; we all learn from one another.
During Communion services Children join the rest of the congregation for the second part of the service, and can choose to sit either with their parents or with those who have been helping them during their activities.
On the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions there is an informal “All age” worship, when we all join together.
